Will your wedding day turn out to be picture perfect? Most likely not. It’s simply the nature of things that not everything will go precisely as planned.
Here are five tips to help you have a better than average chance that your careful planning will result in a near perfect wedding ceremony. The one you’ve always dreamed of.
1. Begin planning your wedding early. We recommend at least one year in advance. This will give you a better chance of being able to book the location and entertainment you want.
2. Start working with a florist early on. No later than six months from your wedding. You may want to consider using silks so you can have your wedding flowers and bridal bouquet well in advance of your wedding day. Avoiding any last minute mix-ups.
3. Hire a wedding planner or put someone you trust in charge. This will reduce the stress and allow you to be more relaxed and enjoy your special day and the weeks and months preceeding your wedding.
4. Use silk flowers for your reception centerpieces. This will keep it simple and you can give them to your guests as momentos of your big day.
5. Be flexible. Small last minute changes to details will surely leave you stressed out. Know ahead of time that not everything will go exactly as planned and prepare yourself for last minute adjustments.
It’s your special day. Plan ahead and be prepared for minor last minute changes.
